Which product is right for your client?

At Colleys we provide a range of valuation and survey products, so your client can always get exactly the level of information they're looking for. See a summary of Colleys products below so you can help your clients decide what is right for them.

Colleys Property Valuation

This is a brief report which includes our assessment of the value of the property. It also highlights any major defects or legal issues we think might affect the property's value - but it is not a survey of the property.

A valuation is useful if your client is buying a new build home, remortgaging or needs a property assessed for estate valuation.

If your client is purchasing a previously occupied property, it is our recommendation that they seriously consider a product that provides an assessment of both the property's condition and value.

Colleys Property Check

For clients purchasing a home, we normally recommend a property check, unless it is a new build.

As well as a valuation, we carry out a survey of the property and report on its condition - highlighting any issues that require remedial work and could affect the property's value or saleability.

A property check gives home buyers greater assurance of value and peace of mind regarding the condition of a property.

Colleys Building Survey

This is a more detailed survey inspection and report. The report is divided into sections covering general property information and condition advice, using repair categories and repair cost bandings. It also incorporates future maintenance and condition issues and provides an assessment of the property's value.

The building survey is particularly suited to large, older or individual properties.
