Colleys Property Check explained

A Colleys Property Check is carried out by one of our RICS qualified and registered surveyors. Though we are a national company, all of our surveyors are responsible for a local area – so they have first-hand experience of local markets.

Internal and external inspection

Our surveyor will make an internal inspection of the property.

The property will be externally visually inspected from ground level within the boundaries of the property and adjacent public areas using binoculars where appropriate.

Advice on repairs

A Colleys Property Check identifies a property's main construction and contains advice on the urgency of any repairs.

If you're about to buy a home, you may have specific concerns about the property. Our surveyors are happy to discuss your concerns with you and help you decide which type of survey would be appropriate.
